We had a lot of ideas and thoughts regarding our artists and venues and we managed to narrow down the artists and we have started to think 0f a theme and venue. The artists and designers we chose all had interaction in common, each has worked actively with the public engaging them directly with the work they produce. The artists we chose are, Fabiane Perella, Richard Shed, Matt & Ross and Miltos Manetas. The theme we have chosen is based on the senses, each artist has involved senses in their work; be it touch, sight, sound etc. We aim to create an interactive event involving the public based on doing something fun and collaborative. We have begun to discuss possible venues and one that we discussed was a place called Dex next to Brixton tube which is a members club and bar that contains function rooms and roof terraces. This could be a possible venue as Iliana knows the managers. This is where we are at so far. I will post some photos of the artists work and gallery spaces when I find out how to.
Thanks

Hi,
I've been trying to contact the menager of the Dex (I found out that the person I know is not directly in charge of the events) but didn't get the chance to speak with him yet. May be tonight.(Finger crossed)
I've been contacted by a venue-bar in Clapham Common which would like to be involved in some sort od exhibition-happening and I've got an appointment for next week to check out the newly refurbished space (two floors)
I'll let you know more about it tomorrow.
Thanks
Hey guys,
How come you got contacted by the bar in Clapham Ilenia? I think if anything Clapham would be a better place to stage our event than Brixton (more tubes!..more people)..especially if we were going to do it in a bar type setting as i reckon theres usually a higher proportion of people out at bars etc in Clapham than Brixton.Clapham just make it so easy theres just one long road of them!So we'd probably get more people going. But it is all about the space so good luck next week Ilenia:)
